Good morning Bryarfield, I hope everyone has had a safe winter so far. I am ready for Spring, tired of the cold days and snow. Please be on the 'Look-Out' for a mailing from Bryarfield HOA this week. It is the long awaited voting form in regards to changing our restrictions to allow sheds. Please read it, and follow the instructions. It is very important we have 100% of the neighborhood participation in the voting, whether you are a YES or NO, doesn't matter we just need to participate, your opinion matters. Thank you and remember " to have a good neighbor, you need too be a good neighbor"

*We have met with the attorney who represents the neighborhood. The main topic was the change in the restrictions to add the ability to have sheds on your property. We have put together the basic guidelines for a shed. We were hoping the vote could be done before cold weather, but looks like it may be awhile. The attorney is working on the process, to be certain the "vote" will be done in the proper way. So hopefully it won't be too much longer, weather permitting we are still planning on door to door in person vote. *Have you noticed the new bright colored signs on the Stop sign post? As of today November 21, there are still several property owners that have not paid the annual $120. This fee is the same every year, due by October 31. Please send your payment ASAP, to avoid the $25 late fee, which will be added on December 1st, for those who still haven't paid. Also, a reminder of the lien that will be placed on your property if not paid by January 1st. Which will be approximately $375 or more to release once it's placed on the property. Hopefully we can get this done by the time cold weather moves in, since we plan on door to door vote. We have a plan to talk to Mt. Washington police & the city regarding speeding on Barbara Sue, and golf carts being driven around the neighborhood by under age drivers. Thank you to the homeowners who attended the annual meeting, this is just a short summary of subjects that were discussed. Adding an amendment to the current by-laws to include allowing sheds. There will be a committee, 3 homeowners volunteered, they will decide on the details of the sheds. Example will include, max size, color, material, placement on the lot, ensure that the sheds will blend in the neighborhood. There will be a vote, it will be done by going door to door with a notary. Per the attorneys advise the signatures of all home owners are to be notarized on the voting ballots. Unlike the vote that occurred in 2022 the ballots will not be mailed. This Saturday will be the neighborhood annual yard sale, June 14th, 8:00 am until ? If it rains we will reschedule for the following Sat. June 21st. It will be listed online thru FB & Nextdoor to the local online sites.There will be signs put up leading to Bryarfield. Hope for good weather & good turn out !

The Bryarfield annual neighborhood yard sale will be Saturday June 14, 2025. As in years past the yard sale is the 2nd Saturday of June. You will be receiving a reminder postcard in the mail in a few days. The event will be posted on several online social platforms, FB, Instagram etc. There will be some signs put around the major roads leading to Bryarfield, the night before.
